“Bring Your Passion, Share Your Expertise, Build Your Success.”
One of the most challenging things as a yoga instructor, especially when starting out, is trying to determine the value of your services. Now, most of us know that yoga is SO valuable that it should be offered for free, right?! (Exactly how does that work, anyway?) We all know the world would be a better place if everyone just rolled out a mat every day.
Alas…… though we may be moving in the right direction, we still have a ways to go. In the meantime, Amy Ippoliti and Taro Smith have come together to produce a book to help guide teachers in the right direction. The Art and Business of Teaching Yoga is a practical book and must-read for new graduates, just beginning to wade their way through the business waters, but also for seasoned teachers who might do well to reassess where they (and their business) are at.
You don’t even have to take my word for it- little old me. Some of the biggest yoga teachers internationally are raving about the book. And that says a lot.
Here’s a rundown on what you can expect to learn:
building a student base
teaching dynamic classes
maintaining (and creating) a marketing plan
using social media
becoming financially stable
optimizing your practice
This brief 190-page book packs a big practical punch. If just one useful piece of info helps boost your business, it’ll be worth it.
